Zenmuse L2 is a high precision aerial LiDAR payload system. Integrating frame LiDAR, a high accuracy IMU system, and a 4/3 CMOS RGB mapping camera, it is a powerful turnkey solution for precise, efficient and reliable geospatial data acquisition.
Compatible with DJI M350 RTK and M300 RTK drones, Zenmuse L2 can seamlessly integrate enterprise drone operational tasks in areas such as land surveying and mapping, infrastructure and utility management, and forestry management.
Powerful Range, Elevated Precision
• Combines GNSS and a high accuracy IMU for high level precision with 4cm vertical accuracy and 5cm horizontal accuracy.
• Reliable and efficient post processing on DJI Terra.
• Capable of covering over 2.5km2 in a single flight.
• Diverse flight route types such as Waypoints, Area, and Linear route types, so you can tailor to your missions environment.
• Enhanced operational efficiency and safety with a detection range of 250 m at 10% reflectivity and 100klx.
• Supports 5 returns to capture more ground points even through dense foliage.

Frame Based LiDAR
An effective point cloud data rate of up to 100% thanks to its frame based design. Combined with a three axis gimbal, Zenmuse L2 unlocks a wide range of possibilities in surveying scenarios.
Boasting a 30% increase in detection range when compared to its predecessor, L2n can detect from 250 metres at 10% reflectivity and 100klx, and up to 450 metres at 50% reflectivity and 0 klx.

Precision IMU
Enhanced Accuracy: DJI’s self developed IMU system and the integrated RTK positioning system allows for extremely accurate position, speed and altitude information.
Yaw Accuracy - Real-time: 0.2°, post processing: 0.05°
Pitch/Roll Accuracy - Real-time: 0.05°, post processing: 0.025°
Rapid IMU Start-Up: From the moment it's powered on, the IMU system is ready to perform and the drone can begin its mission, streamlining and optimising user experience.

RGB Mapping Camera
Zenmuse L2 features a powerful 20MP RGB Mapping Camera. With a 4/3 CMOS sensor and mechanical shutter with 0.7 minimum photo interval it can produce enriched true colour point cloud details as well as photos and videos for visible light mapping.
Ultimate User Experience
Diverse Flight Route Types: such as Waypoint, Area, and Linear Route types, you can tailor your flight to your requirements.
Point Cloud Model Playback and Merging: After each mission 3D point cloud models can be viewed directly in the album. Models from multiple flights can be merged to enhance reliable decision making.
Auto-Generated Task Quality Reports: DJI Pilot 2 app will automatically generate a task quality report after each flight. Allowing operators to view results on site, in real time.
DJI Terra: Generate a standard-format 3D point cloud model with just a click after point cloud trajectory calculation and accuracy optimization.

* The data presented are typical values. Measured using a flat subject with a size larger than the laser beam diameter, a perpendicular angle of incidence, and an atmospheric visibility of 23 km. In low-light environments, the laser beams can achieve the optimal detection range. If a laser beam hits more than one subject, the total laser transmitter power is split and the achievable range is reduced. The maximum detection range is 500 m.
