Zenmuse H20T vs H30T: What's New?

What is the DJI Zenmuse H Series?

Consisting of the Zenmuse H20 Series, and the newly released H30 Series, the Zenmuse H multi sensor payloads are redefining what it means to be efficient in your operations. Providing unprecedented aerial imaging capabilities with their integrated design and wide range of intelligent features. Including sensors such as a built-in Wide-Angle Camera, powerful Zoom Camera, Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera, Laser Range FInder and NIR Auxiliary Light. These all in one payloads offer a streamlined platform of precision data collection, an ideal solution for users across a number of different industries. Now the latest addition of the range has been released, the H30/H30T lets see how they stack up against their predecessor.

Zenmuse H20T vs Zenmuse H30T: Spec Comparison

Wide-Angle Camera

One of the more significant improvements that can be seen in the H30 Series when compared with the H20 is the upgrade of the Wide-Angle Camera. The H30 series boasts a larger lens size, and more than double the camera quality. This allows for wider shots with even more clarity than before.

Zoom Camera

The Zoom Camera has also seen a significant upgrade, now with double the zoom capabilities. The H20 Series featured a powerful 200x maximum zoom, but this is now dwarfed by the formidable 400x zoom of the new H30. This upgrade cements the Zenmuse collection as a go to solution for practical applications such as infrastructure and equipment inspections as it allows the user to keep comfortable distances from the subject without compromising on image quality.

Laser Range Finder

The Laser Range Finder has seen an upgrade across the board. The H30 Series features a significantly improved range of up to 3000m, a more precise measurement accuracy as well as a more concentrated laser spot. When accuracy is crucial to your mission this can be a huge benefit as it will provide added reliability in target positioning.

Zenmuse H20T vs Zenmuse H30T: Key Upgrades

Improved Imaging Capabilities

When comparing these two payload series, it is evident that a major upgrade showcased by H30 comes in the form of its imaging capabilities. A significant enhancement in the performance of both the Wide-Angle and Zoom cameras takes it to the next level in terms of clarity and precision making it a go-to option for infrastructure and inspection tasks.

Improved Thermal Camera

Upgraded high resolution 1280x1024 thermal camera delivering high grade visuals beyond the capabilities of the human eye, with 4x the amount of pixels as its predecessor. This makes it an ideal solution for operations such as search and rescue, wildlife conservation and monitoring and fire monitoring.

Extended Laser Range

Along with a dramatically enhanced zoom capability, the upgraded Laser Range Finder makes the H30 Series a valuable tool in operations where accuracy is crucial. With over 2x the range and 2.5x the accuracy, the H30 series delivers more accurate and reliable target positioning. Perfect for tasks with precision at the forefront.

IP Rating

Where the H20 Series has an IP44 Rating, the new H30 Series boasts an impressive IP54 Rating. This rating means that it is capable of operating in all weather conditions, an upgrade that is to align the payload with the DJI Matrice 350, the drone in which the H30 will most commonly be used alongside.
