Penola Year 4 Drone Day 2019
DJI store were invited by Penola Catholic School to run multiple drone workshops for their Year 4 Drone day on the 21st of October.
There were a total of 200 students who attended the workshop throughout the day and were given a rundown of the current state of drones and what drones can do.
Our Chief pilot also demonstrated the Inspire 2 in a cage with the students watching in awe.
They were shown different videos of the drones demonstrating their amazing capability and flexibility.
After the theoretical approach, the students then formed groups to learn how to pilot the Tello drone.
It was extremely encouraging to see so many students pick up drone
flying so fast and the teachers were also getting heavily involved.
The students had an absolute blast flying around and did not want to leave the workshop!
