Firmware version v01.00.0201 has officially dropped for the DJI Mini 3 Pro and is available now. Let’s find out what’s new.
Vertical FocusTrack
You asked for it and now it’s here! All your favourite DJI FocusTrack features are now available in vertical mode on the Mini 3 Pro. This includes Point of Interest, Spotlight, and of course ActiveTrack.
Vertical ActiveTrack
This one should be a game changer… With the Mini 3 Pro now supporting vertical ActiveTrack, subject tracking has never been easier. Vertical ActiveTrack allows you to perfectly frame a human subject and follow them as they move. This updated feature should make capturing creative social media content easier than ever!
Vertical QuickShots
Did you think FocusTrack was the only Intelligent Flight feature coming to Vertical Shooting Mode? Think again! This new firmware update also brings the power of fan favourite QuickShots to Vertical mode.
What does this mean? All of your old favourites including Dronie, Rocket, Helix, Circle and Boomerang are all now supported by the Mini 3 Pro when shooting in Vertical mode.

Continuous Autofocus

Flight Performance Optimisations
DJI have also made a variety of small yet significant software optimisations designed to improve the overall flight performance of the Mini 3 Pro. These include optimising battery load management when flying in environments with strong winds and he anti-interference ability and the transmission distance of the image transmission system.
General Bug Squashes
As to be expected with almost any tech update, the DJI Mini 3 Pro firmware update features a variety of small bug squashes and updates designed to eliminate small annoyances and improve your overall flight experience.
