The GPC Hard Safety Case for the Mavic Air 2 is the perfect case for the Air 2 which its small compact size and abundance of storage.
Construction
The case itself is made from a durable SKB military spec case where the material is commonly used by the military and other industrial leaders. The foam is precision cut from a water-jet to ensure the perfect cut along with closed cell foam to resist water and dust infiltration. With long lasting rubber seals around the lid, the case has a waterproof and dust tight design along with a molded in hinge for extra protection. Furthermore, the plastic build is also resistant to UV, solvents, corrosion and fungus.
Design
To allow for easy open, a trigger release latch is used along with ambient pressure equalization valve. This means the case can adjust its pressure accordingly to the environment, something cheaper cases often forget.

How does it compare to its competitors?
The GPC build quality is definitely a step above its competitors, both DJI and PGYTECH. The GPC Foam has two layers where you have the standard black foam at the bottom and a more rigid blue foam at the top to ensure the cut-outs do not rip. Furthermore the rubber deals on the GPC are of highly quality and feel compared to the PGYTECH safety carrying case. You will also find that the egg-shell foam at the top is also of higher grade. The GPC is also a smaller case, meaning it is easier to carry around.
The PGYTECH Mavic Air 2 safety case does have an advantage where it can fit the smart controller as well as the standard controller where the GPC case will only fit the standard controller. However with that, the PGYTECH is a larger case as the smart controller is a larger controller.
