What is the DJI RC?
First introduced in 2022, the DJI RC totally rethinks what a drone controller can do. Featuring a completely different design to the standard DJI RC-N1 controller that many pilots are accustomed to, the DJI RC eliminates the need to pair your controller and smartphone. Instead, the DJI RC sports an ultra-bright 5.5” touchscreen that gives pilots crystal clear views of their drone’s camera and easy-to-use controls.

DJI Air 2S
The go-to drone for countless creators, the DJI Air 2S is a mid-sized aerial imaging solution that delivers stunning 5.4K video and 20 MP stills with its huge 1” CMOS sensor… all in HDR! After non-stop outcry from DJI Air 2S pilots, this drone is now the latest in the lineup to support the DJI RC controller, giving pilots a new way to fly besides the traditional DJI RC-N1 controller. If you're an Air 2S pilot, flying with the DJI RC is sure to breathe new life into your aerial creativity. DJI Mavic 3 Series
DJI Mavic 3 | DJI Mavic 3 Cine | DJI Mavic 3 Classic | DJI Mavic 3 Pro | DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine
DJI’s flagship consumer drone series - the DJI Mavic 3 series - is fully compatible with the DJI RC controller. Compatibility includes the original DJI Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine, DJI Mavic 3 Classic with its single Hasselblad camera and the newer DJI Mavic 3 Pro and Mavic 3 Pro Cine drones.
When paired with a Mavic 3 series drone, the DJI RC enables pilots to receive live HD video feed of their Hasselblad camera at work in far better quality than a smartphone can deliver. Plus, the DJI RC can be used to achieve up to 15 KM of flight range through the power of the DJI O3+ video transmission protocol!
Please note: DJI RC compatibility does not extend to DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise series drones.

Are FPV Drones Compatible with DJI RC?
Unfortunately, DJI RC compatibility does not extend to FPV drones like the DJI FPV and DJI Avata as they require FPV headsets to be operated. These drones fly at significantly higher speeds than traditional camera drones, and as such require pilots to be fully focused on what the drone sees via their goggles. As the DJI RC does not deliver the ultra-low latency required to make quick decisions when flying FPV, it is not compatible with FPV drones. Suitable alternatives include the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 and DJI RC Motion 2.
