DJI Mini 2 Overview

The DJI Mini 2 was released in November 2020 where it redefines "mini" drones with powerful performance both in flight and through the cameras. The Mini 2 features 4K/30fps video, 12MP JPEG and RAW photos and a wide range of intelligent functions such as QuickShots and Panorama. The DJI Mini 2 improves upon the wind resistance of the Mavic Mini to a similar standard of Air 2, Level 5 Wind Resistance.

How Does The Mini 2 Perform? 

Extremely Capable Camera 
The DJI Mini 2 may be small, light and lightweight, but it packs a powerful punch. The 4K/30fps video ensures that all your friends and family can enjoy watching your videos, complete with vivid colors and stunning details. If you want to slow your videos down, try 1080p/60fps to have 2 times slow motion video. 

With the introduction of OcuSync 2.0 video transmission, you can now fly further and clearer than before. This is a significant change from the enhanced Wi-Fi found on the DJI Mavic Mini First Generation. This transmission system is able to transmit up to 10km away in FCC mode and 6km in other modes. Unlike the enhanced WiFi in Australia, there are multiple channels to help with the range and to mitigate interference! 

Now that the camera and sensor have upgraded, the DJI Mini 2 now offers 4x Zoom that offers greater flexibility when shooting from a distance. You can easily take a snap of wildlife from afar or capture your kids playing from a safe distance!

The DJI Mini 2 has a maximum flight time of 31 minutes and can resist strong winds up to 28-39 km/h, making it easier to fly in varying locations and conditions.

Much like Smart Photo in the Air 2, Enhanced photo is new feature where the drone will automatically make your images more vivid with stunning image quality from a single tap. Easy Editing, East Post Production

Another new feature DJI has made unique with the Mini 2 is QuickTransfer. When your phone is near the DJI Mini 2, you can automatically download photos and videos at an impressive speed of 20 MB/s and the best part is, you don't even have to have your controller connected! Added convenience! 

Sometimes when you take a video, it may be 20 minutes long and there is a specific scene you want somewhere within that 20 minutes. Now with the feature, Trimmed Download, you can select the best clips from all your footage and download it to your phone, saving space.
