After years of anticipation, DJI has blessed pilots around the world with the revolutionary new DJI Mavic 3! Wondering if it's worth the upgrade? Learn how it stacks up against the Mavic 2 series with this handy comparison guide.
What’s new about the Mavic 3?
The Mavic 3 is an ultra-versatile aerial imaging solution that incorporates the best parts of the past to create a drone for the future. With an innovative new dual-camera module, you are no longer forced to choose between the performance of a Pro or Zoom camera - you get both by default!
The Mavic 3 features Hasselblad’s most advanced drone sensor yet, a 4/3” CMOS sensor that can capture up to 5.1K/50fps in 10-bit Dlog. But that’s just one of two cameras. The Mavic 3 also features a secondary telephoto camera, a first for the Mavic series. With this new telephoto camera, you’ll have more flexibility than ever before with up to 7X optical zoom compared to the 2X optical zoom found on the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom.
Oh, and did we mention the improved flight time and transmission range? With Mavic 3’s improved battery performance, you can fly for up to 46 minutes and up to 15km away with O3+ wireless video transmission. The Mavic 3 also features DJI’s latest and greatest drone safety features with omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, APAS 5.0 and more!
